Royal Air Maroc Extends Summer Discounts to All Economy Passengers Flying to Morocco

The management of RAM assures that the exceptional rates offered during this summer period concern all passengers (excluding business class) traveling to Morocco from abroad.
Royal Air Maroc does not discriminate! This is a statement made by Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of the national airline, during the press conference held on Monday. The price discounts and the increase in seats are therefore not an exclusive privilege of MREs, the company’s officials have indicated.
These statements were confirmed by Othmane Bekkari, director of the customer division at Royal Air Maroc, who directly answered various questions from Internet users. "Quickly implemented after the royal instructions, the special operation has recorded more than 500,000 bookings since its launch, 90% of which are at promotional prices. The remaining 10% are seats that are not affected by this operation, namely business class seats, those booked by tourists in Morocco who want to go abroad, or by transit tourists in Morocco to Europe or Africa for example," explained Othmane Bekkari, contacted by some media.
The two officials assured that this operation "was launched for the benefit of MREs, but it also concerns all people coming from abroad (students, tourists, expatriates residing in Morocco, Africans, etc.)". "We cannot be discriminatory," Bekkari said.
"When a customer goes to the RAM platform or an agency, there is no way to know if it is an MRE or not, as the law does not allow the company’s commercial services to require the presentation of a residence permit to customers who book their ticket.
