Royal Air Maroc Resumes Casablanca-Tenerife Flights with Twice-Weekly Service

Royal Air Maroc has resumed the Casablanca-Tenerife route with two weekly frequencies. Launched at the end of December, the line had been suspended in March.
The national airline of Morocco will relaunch this route with the ATR72-600 aircraft which offers 12 seats in Business class and 58 in Economy class. During the summer season which will last until October 27, the flights will depart from Tenerife Sur on Fridays and Sundays at 6:55 p.m. bound for Casablanca. The landing in the economic capital is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. local time.
From November 2, when the winter season begins, flights from Tenerife Sur to Casablanca will be organized on Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:25 p.m. The arrival in Casablanca is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. local time. For return flights from Mohammed V Airport, they will be scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:25 a.m. and will arrive in Tenerife Sur at 11:35 a.m., as well as on Fridays and Sundays at 2:55 p.m. for a landing in Tenerife Sur at 6:10 p.m.
The airline’s executives unveiled this flight program last Thursday at the GF Victoria Hotel in Costa Adeje, in the presence of tourism professionals and the CEO of Tenerife Tourism, David Pérez. "The link with Casablanca is strategic, not only from a tourism point of view but also from a commercial and economic point of view. Royal Air Maroc, through its "hub" in Casablanca, also provides us with connections to North America or the Middle East...," Perez said in a note.
"Royal Air Maroc is a strategic "partner" who has just joined the One World alliance, which is also very important for the island," adds the CEO of Tenerife Tourism, recalling that 10,152 Moroccan tourists arrived on the island in 2022, or some 4,000 more than in 2019.
