Royal Air Maroc Cancels Flights, Sparking Customer Outrage Amid Health Emergency Extension

The airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) had to suspend its regular flights to offer special flights to its customers due to the extension of the state of health emergency until September 10. This situation is causing confusion and provoking the anger of customers.
After announcing the cancellation of flights, the airline asked its customers to contact the call center before directing them to its website or mobile app to exchange or cancel their tickets. "As much as possible, only call the call center for flights leaving in the next 5 days," it recommended in a message on social media.
But the situation is confusing. Many customers are struggling to get satisfaction. On the web, they express their disappointment. "Flight booked yesterday [August 7] on the RAM website. I call today for assistance for my elderly father, I am informed that the flight is canceled. [...] No email received to inform me of this cancellation, no information given on the next flights. My father is sick, he has important medical appointments, it is becoming urgent that he returns. What do we do?" asks Hassna Housna on Twitter.
"My flight for this Wednesday, August 12 is canceled! What should I do? I paid for the tests for nothing! What should I do now? Take another ticket and pay another test, it’s unsustainable!" writes another Internet user.
