Royal Air Maroc and Air Sénégal Form Strategic Partnership to Boost Morocco-Senegal Connections

Royal Air Maroc and Air Sénégal signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a strategic partnership between the two airlines on Wednesday in Casablanca.
This partnership aims to strengthen commercial cooperation between the two companies and stimulate economic, social and cultural exchanges between Morocco and Senegal. It will also increase connections and offer new days and schedules of service for the delight of travelers from both countries.
The Memorandum of Understanding also provides for a "Codeshare" agreement aimed at allowing passengers to purchase travel tickets from Royal Air Maroc or Air Sénégal and travel at their choice on the fleet of either of the two companies. The cooperation will take into account the maintenance and chartering of aircraft and handling, and offers the opportunity for the two companies to strengthen the capacities of their human resources and pool their efforts in terms of communication and digitalization of services.
For the CEO of RAM, Hamid Addou, this partnership "fits perfectly with the excellent relations between our two countries and we have expressed, during the many preparatory meetings, our firm determination to build a strategic and lasting partnership with Air Sénégal".
"Royal Air Maroc and Air Sénégal are today concretizing the will of the highest authorities of our respective countries to develop this air bridge, both in terms of passenger and cargo transport. This South-South agreement commits us to respect international standards for the common good of our future Royal Air Maroc/Air Sénégal passengers," said Alioune Badara Fall, CEO of Air Sénégal.
