Royal Air Maroc to Acquire 200 Airbus Planes in Major Fleet Expansion

As part of its expansion, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plans to acquire some 200 aircraft from Airbus. The European manufacturer is expected to deliver these aircraft by 2037.
This is the first time RAM has ordered aircraft from Airbus. The Moroccan airline, which usually sources from American giants like Boeing and ATR, has ordered some 200 aircraft from the European manufacturer to increase its fleet. The agreement is being finalized and the aircraft should be delivered by 2037, according to La Tribune.
The announcement of the signing of this unprecedented partnership will take place in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Moroccan authorities are working to resolve disputes related to traffic rights and time slots (slots) that Royal Air Maroc believes it has lost due to recent renovation work at several French airports, including Orly.
