Rising Soccer Star Ayyoub Bouaddi Weighs National Team Options: France or Morocco?

Ayyoub Bouaddi, a 17-year-old midfielder for LOSC, is still keeping the suspense alive regarding his sporting nationality. He is still hesitating between Morocco and France.
The player’s profile interests both the French Football Federation and its Moroccan counterpart, but the player prefers not to rush.
When asked by the media So Foot about this situation, the Liévin native confirmed that no decision had been made. "For now, I’m with the French U21 team and I feel good. And to tell you the whole truth, my only current decision is to give myself time to choose," he stated, clearly indicating his desire to continue his reflection.
This position comes as the young player has already been integrated into the rotation of Lille’s professional team. He has indeed made 34 appearances in Ligue 1, the French Cup, and during the Champions League qualification rounds, for a total of two assists. These statistics, for a player of his age, highlight his potential.
Trained in the various youth categories of LOSC, Ayyoub Bouaddi is under contract with the northern club until June 2027. For now, his international choice remains in suspense, with the player focusing on his progression at the club and with the French U21 team.
