The return of the "Magician" Hakim Ziyech
The coach of Wydad Casablanca, Mohamed Amine Benhachem, has confirmed the return of Hakim Ziyech for the second leg of the CAF Cup quarter-final against OC Safi. The coach, however, remains evasive about his own future.
After the 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Al Massira stadium, Benhachem said he was "satisfied" with his players’ performance despite Errahouli’s late equalizer. Although several names of potential successors are already circulating, the 50-year-old coach assures that the morale is high and that he remains focused on his mission.
The big news for the Reds concerns Hakim Ziyech, whose return has been confirmed for the decisive leg next Sunday. "Ziyech will be present. He feels better and has recovered well from his injury," said the former coach of Chabab de Mohammédia, putting an end to doubts about the playmaker’s physical condition.
For his part, the "Magician" has already launched hostilities on social media. In a post on Instagram, the former Chelsea player took a jab at the refereeing of the first leg while confirming his presence for this crucial match that will determine the continental future of the Casablanca club.
