Renowned Moroccan Crime Novelist Miloudi Hamdouchi Dies at 70

Morocco has just lost one of the great names of its literature. This is Miloudi Hamdouchi, a novelist specializing in crime fiction.
Morocco is in mourning. At the age of 70, the novelist Miloudi Hamdouchi left this world on Friday, August 30, 2019, in Dar Bouazza, in the outskirts of Casablanca, after a long illness, confide friends of the deceased.
Miloudi Hamdouchi had several lives. At the beginning of his professional career, he had served at the General Directorate of National Security between Rabat and Tangier. Over time, he was promoted to hold positions of responsibility. He will later convert to teaching and research, then to writing.
A great name in Moroccan literature, he has about ten works to his credit. Among them, we can cite, among others, the novel "The Blind Fish" which was the subject of a film adaptation, "Private Relationship", "The Claws of Death", "The Holy Janjah" and "Oum Tariq", as well as other publications related to the legal field.
The late Miloudi Hamdouchi had a career that commands admiration. He solved criminal puzzles with finesse. A professor specializing in criminal law and criminology, the deceased also made a name for himself in the academic field with excellent research.
