Renowned Moroccan Actress Naïma Bouhmala Dies at 75, Leaving Artistic Legacy

Moroccan actress Naïma Bouhmala passed away this Wednesday. She was considered one of the prominent figures in the artistic scene in Morocco, having had a great career in theater and television.
Born in 1948, Naïma Bouhmala distinguished herself through her acting and her characteristic voice. She maintained a regular and recognized presence on theater stages throughout her professional career.
Alongside her theater activity, her participation in numerous television works extended her visibility.
The announcement of her death was followed by reactions, notably that of Latifa Ahrar, director of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art and Cultural Animation. In a Facebook post, she wrote: "May God grant mercy to the great artist Naïma Bouhmala... May God have mercy on you, dear friend... My sincere condolences to your family and all those who loved you."
