Reggaeton Star Maluma Dons Moroccan Soccer Jersey, Thanks 200,000 Fans at Mawazine Concert

Maluma wearing a "Atlas Lions" jersey. This is what can be seen in a video posted on Instagram by the international Reggaeton star. It was taken to thank an audience that came in droves to his concert at Mawazine.

There were about 200,000 who attended the show given by the star, Maluma. The artist wanted to thank them, on Instagram, by posting a video where he wears a jersey of the Moroccan national football team. Moreover, he even wore it during part of his show at Mawazine, at the OLM Souissi. This concert took place on Saturday, June 29, 2019.

During the show, Maluma said: "I’ve always wanted to come here and play for you. Now, it’s a dream come true." The 25-year-old reggaeton superstar even admitted his great surprise at seeing so many people come to attend his concert.

Maluma, moved by emotion, even shed a few tears during his thanks to the Moroccan audience.

Before the event, interviewed by the Huffpost, Maluma had stated that the Moroccan culture reminded him "of his own culture, in Colombia", saying that the people there were also very hospitable. Regarding his participation in Mawazine, Maluma said, still to the Huffpost: "It’s an honor. You know, it’s one of the biggest festivals in the world."
