Record Tourist Influx to Agadir as Europeans Flock for Holiday Season

The Agadir-Al Massira airport is recording record attendance at the end of the year. Tourists, mainly from Europe, have chosen Morocco to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s.
This influx is explained in particular by the recent opening of new air routes connecting Agadir to several European capitals. An asset that facilitates access to this seaside city, prized for its sunny climate and diverse landscapes, reports Rue20.
The Al Massira airport is thus seeing a large number of planes arriving from the Old Continent, but also from the United Kingdom. Travelers from all over the world, eager to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city and its very mild climate.
Agadir is thus joining Marrakech and Fez in the ranking of the most attractive Moroccan cities for the end-of-year holidays. Its tourist offer is increasingly seducing visitors.
For the capital of Souss, these Christmas holidays represent a very important economic challenge, especially after the difficult period during the Covid-19 pandemic.
