Reality Star Fidji Ruiz’s Husband in ICU After Horrific Marrakech Car Crash

Fidji Ruiz and her husband, rapper Anas, were victims of a violent car accident in Marrakech. The former reality TV star is luckier than her husband, who is still in intensive care after emergency surgery.
In an Instagram story, Fidji Ruiz announced the sad news to her more than two million subscribers. Still in shock, the 34-year-old woman informed that she and her husband "had a serious car accident yesterday (Thursday) in Marrakech". The couple remains under medical supervision. "It’s been 24 hours now that we’ve been hospitalized," Fidji Ruiz specified. The former reality TV star seems to be out of danger. Her husband Anas, on the other hand, had to undergo emergency surgery. "Please pray, make douas [invocations, editor’s note], Anas is going into emergency surgery, pray for him," she wrote.
On Saturday, the mother of a little boy came back to give news of her husband. "The operation was extremely heavy... but al hamdoulilah [Thank God, editor’s note], it went well. The first 72 hours will be the longest and most anguishing of my life..." Fidji Ruiz confided in a new story. "My husband is in the intensive care unit, because that’s where he can be monitored minute by minute. He is conscious, al hamdoulilah, but under maximum surveillance," she added.
The former reality TV star did not fail to thank her community for their closeness in this difficult time she is going through. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your messages, your prayers and all the support you are giving us... I don’t have the strength to read them all yet, but I will as soon as we get through this ordeal inshallah... I beg you, keep praying for him, for us... We need your douas, your support so much."
The thirty-year-old woman felt the need to deny certain rumors circulating on the web: "I see a lot of things going around on social media... and I feel the need to clarify some things. Neither my husband nor I were driving that day. We were accompanied by a private driver. Our vehicle was not at fault in this accident. And above all... al hamdoulilah, our son was not with us in the car. Just thinking about it, I’m still shaking... I’ll come back to give you news when the situation improves, inshallah. Thank you."
