Real Madrid Eyes Summer Move for Achraf Hakimi, Delays €100 Million Bid

Despite the urgent need to strengthen the team due to its poor performance at the start of the year, the leaders of Real Madrid have decided not to sign Achraf Hakimi this month and to wait for the summer transfer window.
Current champion of LaLiga and the Champions League, Real Madrid is not shining at the beginning of this year. Last week, the Madrid club narrowly beat Cecereño in the Copa del Rey and lost to Villarreal in Liga. Despite this poor performance, the club’s leaders prefer not to sign Achraf Hakimi during this January and rather wait for the summer transfer window, reports the newspaper El Nacional.
Real Madrid is indeed very interested in Kylian Mbappé, but Florentino Perez also wants to secure the services of the Moroccan right-back for whom he would be willing to spend up to 100 million euros for his transfer. The president of the Catalan club is aware that this will not be an easy operation due to the bad relationship with PSG and Hakimi’s contract with the Parisian club which runs until 2026.
Kylian Mbappé has also imposed Hakimi’s transfer as a condition for joining Real Madrid. The two players, teammates at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), share a particular friendship and complicity. Appointment at the summer transfer window to find out.
