Real Madrid Eyes Hakimi Return as Zidane Reshapes Squad

On loan until 2020 to Borussia Dortmund, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi could follow in the footsteps of Zinedine Zidane and return to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
This is what several media outlets, including El Mundo Deportivo, are reporting, announcing the return of the young Moroccan at the end of the season, especially since he has a very good relationship with the French coach and his talent has exploded this year within the German team.
Having full powers at Real Madrid, Zizou could retire or demand the departure of several players, paving the way for the young 21-year-old Moroccan.
Achraf Hakimi could however extend his loan to Dortmund and try to gain confidence for a triumphant return in the 2020 and 2021 season, but he must maintain his performance in the Bundesliga.
During the club’s general meeting last October, Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, had expressed his intention to recruit the Moroccan player. "Dear Paco Alcacer, welcome to Borussia Dortmund. And to Achraf Hakimi: we will try to do the same with you but it won’t be easy," he told him. Real Madrid can take him back after the end of his loan in 2020 or, on the contrary, try to get the most out of him. A matter of big money more than talent, in short!
