Real Betis Eyes Summer Move for Barcelona’s Moroccan Talent Ezzalzouli
Abdessamad Ezzazouli, the Moroccan gem of FC Barcelona, currently on loan to Osasuna, is still in the sights of Real Betis. The club intends to enter into negotiations with the Catalan club to recruit him during the summer transfer window.
Real Betis wishes to discuss with the Barça leaders, in order to recruit Abdessamad Ezzalzouli next summer if the Catalan club decides to let the Moroccan gem leave, reports Sport.es, specifying that the current financial difficulties could push the Blaugranas to make this decision. The interest of the Verdiblancos could intensify if the former Barça technical secretary, Ramon Planes, took over the direction of the Seville club in place of Antonio Cordon, the same media believes.
In addition to Real Betis, Chelsea, Tottenham and Atlético de Madrid are also interested in the Moroccan international. This interest is explained by the performance of the young player. With Jagoba Arrasate’s team, Ez Abde has scored three goals and provided two assists in 22 appearances.
In 2022, Real Betis had already expressed its desire to acquire Abdessamad Ezzalzouli. This time, it may be the right timing.
