Rabat Restricts Supermarket Access Amid COVID-19 Surge

The Rabat region is playing the card of vigilance and security in an attempt to limit the spread of the new coronavirus as much as possible.
Thus, the Wali of the Region has just taken a decision that prohibits the entry of hypermarkets to all those who do not reside in Rabat. As for the residents, they will only have access to the large stores upon presentation of an identity document.
The Marjane group, for its part, has also decided to have PCR tests done on all its employees in order to protect them and ensure the safety of customers, said Azami Ayoub, CEO of the group.
It should be noted that the Rabat region is experiencing cases of coronavirus contamination, but it is still very far from the figures of Casablanca, Tangier, Fez, or Marrakech.
