Quick Restaurant in Laval to Remain Open, Plans Shift to All-Halal Menu

Announced to be replaced by Burger King since 2018, the Quick restaurant will not leave Laval (Mayenne). The establishment also plans to go 100% halal.
Built in 2004, the Quick restaurant is resisting the winds of change. According to its director, Jean-Jacques Pécher, the future looks rather serene for the restaurant in Laval, reports the Courrier de la Mayenne.
"In 2018, I would have been unable to tell you whether this restaurant would become a Burger King. Today, the fad is over, they have their pro-Burger King customers, just as we have the pro-Quick," he said.
For Jean-Jacques Pécher, the prospects are good for Quick. According to its national plan, it is a question of "reopening restaurants or renovating some of them". In addition, the restaurant will go 100% halal, due to strong customer demand.
"There is a large community in Laval that is demanding it. The issue is being seriously studied. It worked perfectly in Le Mans, for example. It will happen, you just have to be patient. In a year? Two years? I don’t know," he confided.
