Qatar Airways Expands Morocco Service: Daily Flights to Casablanca Starting May

The airline Qatar Airways is strengthening the Morocco destination with the increase of its services to the airports of Casablanca and Marrakech from next summer.
Currently with two flights per week between Doha-Hamad airport and Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, the links will increase to 7 starting May 29, reports the specialized website Air Journal citing Airlineroute. Departures from Doha are scheduled at 8:05 am every day for an expected arrival at 2:30 pm in Casablanca, while the return flights will depart at 7:35 pm from Morocco for a scheduled landing at 5 am, local time.
As noted by Air Journal, the Qatari company will be in competition with the Moroccan company Royal Air Maroc, its future partner with which it already shares its codes (codeshare).
For the second line between Doha and Marrakech-Menara, it will be offered three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) on board a 787-8 Dreamliner. The aircraft will take off at 9:55 am in Doha for an arrival at 4:10 pm in Marrakech and a return at 5:30 pm for a landing at 5:15 am in Qatar.
