TV Pundit Faces Online Backlash After Defending Anti-Islamophobia March
Columnist Agathe Auproux was violently attacked during the night of Thursday, November 14, in retaliation for her stance in favor of the march against Islamophobia on the "Balance ton post" show.
On this show broadcast on C8, Agathe Auproux stated that "only focusing on the negative aspects of the demonstration is political exploitation".
"Veiled women are stigmatized" and "Muslims feel pointed at" in an "anxiety-provoking climate", adds the young journalist for whom the slogan chanted during the rally is in no way "a war cry" or a call to terrorism.
"Agathe Auproux is really unpleasant, a bitch, what has she done in life to have a place on #c8 #btp?? This pro-Islamist woman is a danger to the country! Let’s revolt against this moralizer who has no credibility. A kill-love this bitch," reacted an Internet user.
