PSG Star Hakimi Voices Frustration Over Limited Role, Praises Morocco National Team

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is not satisfied with the treatment he receives at PSG and much prefers the importance given to him in Morocco.
"With Morocco, I have more importance in the game." This is how Achraf Hakimi criticized in an interview published by Marca, Christopher Galtier, his coach at PSG. "In Paris there are great players, like here. But with Morocco I have more importance in the game, I touch the ball more, they give me the importance of being comfortable. In Paris, it’s very different. Sometimes you run and you don’t get the ball. Here, they try to find me, they know how important I can be offensively and defensively. They give me a lot of confidence and I try to give it back."
Very solicited in the time of Mauricio Pochettino, the Moroccan player has felt cramped since the arrival of Christopher Galtier. The World Cup is an opportunity to show PSG that he remains a player with enormous potential, but who is poorly exploited.
Qualified with Morocco for the round of 16 of the World Cup, the right-back will play against the country where he was born and trained. A double pressure for the player who chose Morocco over Spain.
