PSG’s Hakimi Signing Praised by Former Coach Favre as ’Super Player’

Lucien Favre is delighted to welcome the upcoming arrival of Achraf Hakimi at Paris Saint-Germain. For the Swiss technician, the Parisian club has just made a very good deal, given the exceptional qualities of the 22-year-old player.

"Not only is he a super player, but he is also a super guy, who speaks French, even though he was born in Madrid and is of Moroccan nationality. The Atlas Lion spent two seasons in Germany with Borussia (2018-2019 and 2019-2020). Seasons during which he played 73 matches, scored 12 goals. He was twice vice-champion of Germany and won the Supercup in 2019. He is one of the players with whom Lucien Favre had the joy of working.

"He is a player who has above-average penetration qualities. He is very fast and his ball-carrying qualities make him very dangerous. He relies on phenomenal speed and since he is physical, he recovers well from his efforts," added the former Hakimi coach.
