PSG’s Hakimi Faces Competition as Skriniar Transfer Looms

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi could soon lose his starting spot at PSG. The reason: the announced transfer of Slovak Milan Skriniar, from Inter Milan.
Is the future of Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi threatened at PSG, especially with the arrival of Milan Skriniar? Some fans have been worried since the announcement of the Slovak’s likely arrival. Paris have reportedly reached an agreement with Inter Milan to sign Milan Skriniar. While this transfer is not yet effective, he is clearly entering the competition for the position with Moroccan Achraf Hakimi.
In the sights of the French capital club since last summer, Milan Skriniar had ultimately remained at Inter Milan, the two clubs not having managed to agree on the transfer amount.
Apparently, the negotiations have finally resulted in an agreement according to the Slovak, who confirmed having an agreement with the Parisian club. "If I signed with PSG? Yes, it’s true, but I can’t say more for the moment. I’m waiting for an agreement between the clubs," he said. The details still need to be worked out before the contract is signed.
For now, the player does not know if he will join Paris this winter, the French leaders should therefore pay an indemnity for his last six months of contract, or if he will leave his club this summer to fly freely to Paris.
