Polisario Leader Slams Spanish PM’s Stance on Western Sahara Autonomy

The leader of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, seized the occasion of the opening of the movement’s congress to denounce "once again the illegal decision of Pedro Sanchez to support the Moroccan autonomy plan" for the Sahara, forgetting his welcome in Spain in April 2021 to be treated for Covid-19.
"The Sahrawi people will not stop their struggle, whatever happens, until they have obtained the liberation from the Moroccan occupation," declared in Arabic Brahim Ghali, even evoking the example of Mandela in South Africa. He then addressed the participants and Spanish and Latin American representatives in Spanish, launching a warm "Long live the struggle of the peoples", reports La Razon.
Ghali insisted on the "violation by Morocco of the ceasefire on November 13, 2020, when Moroccan soldiers prevented a demonstration of Sahrawi civilians in Guerguerat," stating that since then, the war has resumed and that the Polisario is equipping itself with material and human means to adapt to the requirements of the moment, however stressing "the need to strengthen the struggle on the media and diplomatic level".
