Polisario Front Launches Online Campaign Against Morocco Over Sahrawi Rights

The Polisario Front intends to counter the information about the inhuman situation suffered by the Sahrawis. To this end, it has launched an online war against Morocco and its media.

Already in June, the Polisario Front had launched a repression campaign against demonstrations aimed at condemning the violations committed in the camps. The next step was the arrest of Moulay Aba Bouzid, Fadel Braka and Mahmoud Zidane. They are still in detention without trial.
In the wake of this, Human Rights Watch and the Peruvian Council of Solidarity with the Sahrawi people condemned the arrest of the activists, who have been in detention since June. According to the Council, the three Sahrawis are subject to harassment and intimidation.
The three activists have been "unjustly accused of alleged criminal acts and treason". These charges could lead to severe sentences, including the death penalty.
