Passengers Trapped for 90 Minutes in Malfunctioning Rabat Train Station Elevator

On Tuesday morning, nine passengers found themselves stuck for an hour and a half in the elevator of the Rabat-ville train station.
Broken down around 8:20 a.m., the elevator, whose alarm and overload systems were not working, was finally reactivated around 9:54 a.m., in the flagrant absence of emergency services.
The trapped people, some of whom suffered from heart and respiratory problems, ended up filing a complaint with the station manager to prevent passengers from experiencing such a situation again.
Strongly criticized on social media, ONCF remained silent about the incident and was the subject of several comments from Internet users, who wondered "how such an incident could occur in a station served by the high-speed train?"
