Pardoned Moroccan Journalist Hajar Raïssouni Weds Fiancé After Prison Release

Journalist Hajar Raïssouni and her Sudanese fiancé were married on Thursday, October 31, in Rabat, after their release from prison.
After the storm, the two lovebirds kept their promise to get married, reports Alyaoum24. Thus, lawyer Saad Sahli drew up the Marriage Certificate in his office.
This Certificate was drawn up a few days after the release from prison of the two fiancés pardoned by King Mohammed VI on October 16.
Prosecuted for "illegal abortion" and "sexual relations outside of marriage", journalist Hajar Raïssouni and her Sudanese fiancé had been sentenced to one year in prison. They had spent 47 days in prison at the Al Arjat prison, on the outskirts of Salé, before being acquitted.
