Pamela Anderson Reveals Tumultuous Romance with Soccer Star Adil Rami in New Memoir

In an autobiography titled Love that she recently published, Pamela Anderson details her relationship with Adil Rami, the French international of Moroccan origin.
In this work, the 55-year-old Canadian-American actress talks about her romance with Adil Rami, 37, who currently plays for Troyes AC. She recounts how she met the player of Moroccan origin in 2017 in a hotel in Marseille. "When I arrived at the hotel, I met a tall, dark-skinned handsome man. He complimented me flirtatiously as soon as he realized who I was. He said he was a professional footballer and offered to have a drink in his room," Pamela Anderson confides.
"When he leaned forward to pour my champagne, I could smell his cologne. I was completely charmed by him," she details in the book. The two stars eventually went out together and Anderson even lived for a while in Marseille at the time when Rami was playing for the club in that city. Rumors had announced their marriage at the beginning of 2018, but nothing happened. Clearly, the relationship was faltering and finally ended in 2019. At the time, Anderson had described Rami as a "monster" and a "narcissist".
The Baywatch actress accused the player of Moroccan origin of infidelity and domestic violence. "Adil was my lover during my year in France and it ended in betrayal," she had revealed shortly after their breakup, adding that she had to take "a bodyguard" because she was "afraid of him. He hurt me and often threatened me." For now, Adil Rami has not yet reacted to this autobiography of his ex.
The French international of Moroccan origin is nearing the end of his career. He has played for several major clubs including Lille, Valencia, AC Milan, Sevilla FC, Olympique de Marseille. He is currently under contract with Troyes.
