Over 200 Moroccans Stranded in Turkey Plead for Royal Intervention Amid Travel Ban

Faced with the "marginalization and indifference" they are experiencing and in view of the "difficult conditions" in which they have been living for more than two months, the Moroccans stranded in Turkey, estimated at more than 200, have called on King Mohammed VI for help.
After the suspension of air links between Turkey and Morocco, the situation of Moroccan nationals stranded in Turkey has completely deteriorated. In a petition addressed to King Mohammed VI, these Moroccans, estimated at more than 200, complain about their "difficult" living conditions and, desperate, call for help after several cries for help that have gone unanswered.
"We have tried several times to communicate with the Moroccan diplomatic representations, but all attempts have been unsuccessful, ignored, and sometimes with carelessness and insult," they inform in the petition.
For these Moroccans stranded in Turkey, their "wretched situation honors no one." This is why they are asking the King to give instructions for a special flight to be chartered for their repatriation to Morocco before the month of Ramadan, which begins in mid-April.
