Oracle to Open First African R&D Center in Morocco, Hiring 1,000+ Engineers

Oracle, the American software giant, is preparing to open its Research & Development center in Morocco, its first of its kind in Africa.
The delegate minister in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Ghita Mezzour, will soon sign an agreement with Oracle Corporation in San Francisco, United States, for the launch of a Research & Development center in Morocco, informs Challenge.
The Oracle R&D center will employ more than 1,000 Moroccan engineers and doctoral researchers who will be dedicated to the design and development of innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence or cloud, areas of reference for the American giant.
Based in Redwood City, California, at the heart of Silicon Valley, Oracle achieved a turnover of $50 billion in 2023. The group offers technological solutions in data management, business, financial services, artificial intelligence, etc.
