Northern Morocco’s Tourist Hotspots See End-of-Summer Exodus as Vacation Season Winds Down

The many tourists who visited the coastal cities of northern Morocco during the summer season are gradually returning to their cities of residence. Life is beginning to resume its normal course in these Moroccan cities.
"At the end of August, we notice a significant drop in the number of visitors. The summer was very lively, but now the city seems calmer," says Mohammed, an employee in a cafe on the Martil corniche to Tanja24, explaining that the visitors have returned home to prepare for the start of the school year and resume work after the end of their vacation.
The same observation is made in Al Hoceima, which also welcomed many tourists this summer. Ahmed, the owner of one of the city’s restaurants, confirms: "Tourist activity was at its peak during the summer, but now we notice a significant decrease in the number of visitors. We are waiting for the next season with new hopes."
Unlike the first two cities that are emptying of tourists, Tangier continues to attract visitors. "The number of tourists is starting to decrease, but Tangier remains a preferred destination for many until the end of the summer," assures the manager of a hotel establishment.
Life is resuming its normal course in the various cities of the North after a very lively summer season during which many tourists flocked to these tourist destinations to enjoy their vacation.
