Nora Fatehi’s Cross Necklace in Video Sparks Religious Speculation Online

Moroccan artist Nora Fatehi triggered a wave of reactions on Instagram after posting a video excerpt showing her wearing a necklace with a cross.
Some fans, surprised to see her wearing this Christian symbol, assumed her conversion to Christianity, provoking the anger of some of her followers. "What a shock... to you your religion and to me mine", "I was sure she was Muslim, this Moroccan", can be read among the comments.
However, other fans provided an important nuance: the video excerpt is actually from a shoot where Nora Fatehi is playing the role of a Christian woman.
Born on February 6, 1992 in Toronto, Canada, Nora Fatehi is a Canadian-Moroccan artist with multiple talents. She is an actress, dancer, model, singer and producer. She began her career in 2014 with the Indian film "Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans". It should be noted that she is the most popular Moroccan personality on social media with more than 44 million followers on Instagram.
