Netanyahu to Visit Morocco by Year’s End, Strengthening Israel-Morocco Ties

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to visit Morocco before the end of the year, according to an Israeli media.
In response to King Mohammed VI’s invitation, Benjamin Netanyahu will make a visit to Morocco between October and December, reports the Israeli daily Israel Hayom, specifying that the Israeli Prime Minister has planned five trips abroad between early September and late December.
The Israeli official is expected to travel to Cyprus on September 3-4, then to Turkey. He will attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York, scheduled for September 18-23, and will have a one-on-one meeting with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of this meeting. After that, Netanyahu is expected to make his visit to Morocco.
King Mohammed VI invited the Israeli Prime Minister in mid-July to make a visit to Rabat, after the Hebrew state’s recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara. "Since then, Netanyahu’s office has indicated that efforts are being made to find a suitable date for both parties and, according to estimates, this trip to Morocco should be included in the Prime Minister’s busy schedule over the fall and winter months," it is specified.
