En-Nesyri’s Late Strike Boosts Sevilla’s Champions League Hopes in La Liga Clash
Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri was impactful and decisive this Sunday, against Real Sociedad at the Anoeta stadium. The striker indeed scored the winning goal, paving the way for FC Seville to qualify for the Champions League.
This is the 12th goal scored by the Atlas Lion in the league this season. This decisive goal gave the victory to the Nervionenses who were facing Real Sociedad this Sunday during their 31st match.
At 23 years old, Youssef En-Nesyri has scored 6 goals in La Liga against Real Sociedad, his highest number of goals against the same team in La Liga. The Moroccan has 22 goals in 45 games this season.
Thanks to this performance, FC Seville with its 64 points remains in fourth position while Real Sociedad becomes fifth with 47 points. Real Madrid (66 points) and Barcelona (65 points) neck and neck, remain in second and third place respectively.
