The Avante 1800 patrol vessel is under construction at Navantia’s shipyard in Cadiz. Its delivery is scheduled for 2026. With a length of 87 meters and a width of 13 meters, it will have a capacity to accommodate 60 people. Morocco had contracted a loan of 95 million euros from Banco Santander in September 2022 to finance the construction of this patrol vessel, recalls La Razon.
The total amount of the Avante 1800 order is 130 million euros and includes, in addition to the actual construction of the ship, comprehensive technical and logistical support, as well as technical training services for Royal Moroccan Navy personnel.
