Nadia Zein: When Spanish fashion meets Moroccan heritage

Nadia Zein left her native Morocco at the age of 10 to join Spain. Today, the young woman living in Valencia is involved in fashion where she manages to create a fusion between Moroccan and Spanish culture.

Passionate about fashion since childhood, Nadia Zein dreams of becoming a great designer like Elie Saab, the Lebanese who has managed to create an original and elegant style, highlighting Eastern and Western culture. "I like Elie Saab because he started like me and he has come a long way; I would like to do the same," Nadia Zein told Las Provincias.

The fashion designer wants to create her own style and achieve the same goal. Very ambitious, she has already opened her own sewing workshop, where, in addition to her clients’ orders, she is working to launch an online ready-to-wear store. At the same time, she is preparing a collection of fifteen dresses for a designer in Dubai. "I have never designed for someone else and I am very happy, because it is a very important collection," enthuses the Valencian.

Despite her many occupations, Nadia Zein finds time for her son and to continue her studies. She is also a very committed woman. Last year, she participated in a campaign in favor of migrant women who have managed to pave their way. "My son was proud to see my photo everywhere," confides the Moroccan who claims that hard work is the only key to success.

For her creations, Nadia Zein is greatly inspired by Moroccan culture. The young woman uses accessories such as rhinestones, trimmings and embroidery. She elegantly combines Moroccan tradition and Valencian culture, which she has absorbed at the Canem fashion school.
