Mysterious Suicide of 64-Year-Old Man in Tinghir, Morocco Prompts Gendarmerie Investigation

A 60-year-old man committed suicide by hanging in the village of Aït Oudinar, in the province of Tinghir, under mysterious circumstances. The gendarmes are conducting an investigation to determine the reasons for his act.
A tragedy occurred on Sunday, January 21 in Aït Oudinar. A 64-year-old married man was found dead at his home by the police. They had to force the entry of his room, which the deceased had closed. His body was transferred to the local morgue in the city of Kelaat M’Gouna, where an autopsy will be performed.
The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Boumalne Dadès are continuing their investigations under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, in order to determine the circumstances and motives of the suicide.
