Mysterious Red Substance Pollutes Tangier Beach, Sparks Investigation

A strange red substance was spotted floating on the surface of the water at Merkala beach in Tangier, causing concern among residents and local associations. In response to this situation, the municipality of Tangier has just reacted.
In order to understand the origin of this pollution, the municipality announced that a joint commission, including various local and regional authorities, has gone to the site. This team observed the presence of the red substance and took samples for analysis, in order to determine the nature of this pollution.
The investigations of the commission led the investigators to the "Al-Majd" industrial zone. Similar traces to the substance found on the beach were observed in the waters of a canal belonging to a paint manufacturing company.
Following these findings, a procedure has been initiated to establish the responsibilities of the company involved. In the meantime, urgent measures have been taken to stop the leak of the substance, the municipality said. At the same time, the Green Youth movement expressed its condemnation of the irresponsible practices that could cause environmental damage.
In response to this incident, proposals have been made to strengthen the monitoring of industrial facilities and ensure their compliance with international environmental standards. Zakaria Abou Najat, president of the Green Youth movement, is deeply concerned about the situation, describing the incident as a "disaster" and calling for the adoption of stricter environmental legislation.
