Mosque Vandalized and Qurans Burned at Moroccan University Campus

One or more individuals have vandalized a mosque in the most despicable way in the University City of Errachidia, even setting fire to copies of the Quran or tearing them apart.
This is not happening in Europe, New Zealand, or America. And it is not the work of Western right-wing extremists. Students in Errachidia posted on social media on Sunday, June 16, 2019, several photos revealing vandalism and exacerbated hatred towards the mosque of the University City and its sacred contents.
The images show torn and burned copies of the Quran, the wooden infrastructure of the mosque broken, the carpets holed, ... The doors and windows have also been broken, according to the media Kech24, which reports this information.
According to the same source, it is still unknown who the perpetrators of this act of Islamophobia (at least in appearance) are or what their motivations are. Is it a message? one might wonder. It is too early to venture into any speculation, as many hypotheses are possible.
The media does not specify whether an investigation has been opened into this matter.
