Mosque in Bordeaux Vandalized with Anti-Muslim Graffiti Following Lola Murder Case

A week after the murder of Lola, a 12-year-old schoolgirl killed in Paris, the mosque in Pessac, Bordeaux was the target of Islamophobic inscriptions. The president of the place of worship will file a complaint against unknown persons.
Tags calling for "justice for Lola" were discovered on the walls of the mosque, attacking the state described as "lax".
In the country, Lola’s death and the profile of the main suspect, of Algerian nationality and under an obligation to leave French territory, have agitated the political class, particularly the right and the far right. They have seized on the case to denounce the government’s immigration policy.
Reacting to this provocation, the president of the mosque Ridouane Abdourahmane denounced "the vile exploitation of the tragic and abominable murder of little Lola" by the far right.
This political manipulation makes "all Muslims the culprits of this odious crime" and amounts to "sticking a target on the back of each of them, thus making them all prey to the hateful and Islamophobic attacks of the fanatics of the far right," he denounced, adding that a complaint against unknown persons will be filed following these inscriptions.
