Morocco World Cup qualification scenarios vs Haiti
After their victory against Scotland, Morocco is very close to the round of 16. A draw against Haiti would be enough for the Atlas Lions, but other scenarios could also qualify them.
Morocco has taken a big step towards the round of 16 of the World Cup. Winners against Scotland 1-0 after their draw with Brazil, the Atlas Lions have four points before their final group match against Haiti, already eliminated after two defeats. They are second, level with Brazil, but behind the Seleção on goal difference.

The calculation is simple: a victory or a draw against Haiti would directly qualify Mohamed Ouahbi’s men. With five or seven points, Morocco would be assured of finishing in the top two of the group. The Lions can even aim for first place if Brazil does not beat Scotland and they win against Haiti.

Even a defeat would not necessarily be elimination. If Brazil beats Scotland, Morocco would remain second. If Scotland draws, the Moroccans would stay ahead thanks to their direct victory against the Scots. The only scenario that would be truly more uncertain would be a Moroccan defeat combined with a Scottish victory against Brazil: Morocco would then be level with Brazil and could depend on goal difference, then possibly on the ranking of the best third-placed teams.
