Morocco’s U-17 Women Face Tough World Cup Group with Brazil, Italy

The Atlas Lionesses have inherited a difficult group in the draw for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025. A sports analyst formulates recommendations that can help the Moroccan team’s coach to make his players shine throughout the competition.
Morocco is placed in Group A alongside Brazil, Italy and Costa Rica. A difficult group for the Atlas Lionesses. "The national team’s group is very difficult, given the presence of Brazil and Italy, without underestimating the Costa Rica team that qualified for this World Cup. We all know the weight and experience of these teams in previous editions," comments sports analyst Abderrahim Ouchrif in an interview with Al3omk. According to him, this tournament, which will be held from October 17 to November 8, 2025 in Morocco, "is an opportunity for the national team to present a remarkable and honorable level, to impose its place and presence, by exploiting the advantages of home field and public support."
The sports analyst points out that the coach of the Atlas Lionesses and his staff have a great responsibility on their shoulders to propose a solid run and accompany the success and triumph of other categories, "which will encourage the under-17 players to fiercely defend their chance to win the title, despite the difficulty of the matches, especially the opening one against the Brazilian team." To meet the challenges, he suggests that the national coach organize preparatory friendly matches against Latin American and European teams, "whose style is similar to that of Brazil or Italy, in order to gain experience that gives us a general idea and prepares us for this tournament that we must not let slip away, despite the difficulty of the task."
Ouchrif also called on the coach to motivate the players to provide a performance that honors national football. "Motivating the players is a responsibility that falls on the technical and sports staff, in addition to the strong popular support that will accompany the players, who will seek to achieve an ideal participation. The rhythm we have reached always places us under the obligation to win all the competitions we organize in our country and to constantly aim for the podium," he added.
