Morocco Welcomes Home 151 Citizens from Mauritania in Ongoing Repatriation Effort

The repatriation operation of Moroccans stranded abroad continues. 151 of them, including babies and children, have returned to the country from Mauritania on a Royal Air Maroc (RAM) flight.
Like the other repatriation operations, this one took place in compliance with the health measures enacted for the occasion and under the supervision of the competent authorities, it is said. The travelers, equipped with their badges, completed the customs formalities and retrieved their luggage while respecting the barrier gestures and social distancing measures, using the hydroalcoholic gel dispensers.
According to the commander of this airport platform, Aoutoul Abdelmounaim, other measures have also been put in place to facilitate customs and administrative formalities, in order to reduce their transit time.
As for the provincial health delegate, he assured that his services took care of the health status of the repatriated compatriots, their temperatures, while monitoring for any apparent symptoms.
He also specified that coronavirus screening tests were carried out on the 151 passengers before they boarded buses to several hotel establishments in the city of Dakhla to undergo their quarantine period in accordance with the applicable health procedures.
