Morocco Vaccinates Nearly 1 Million Teens as COVID-19 Campaign Accelerates

The vaccination of 12-17 year olds started a few days ago is accelerating. Currently, nearly one million minors have already received the first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine, members of the Technical and Scientific Vaccination Committee are pleased to say.
In total, "905,000 children have already benefited from the first dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus, which represents a third of the population concerned," says Dr. Said Afif, member of the Technical and Scientific Vaccination Committee. According to the latter, 57% of the minors concerned received the Pfizer vaccine and 43% the Sinopharm vaccine.
In addition, "the vaccination campaign is picking up speed and reaching 100,000 vaccinated per day," rejoices Dr. Afif. At this rate, the bar of 3 million vaccinated children before the start of the school year could be easily achieved. It should be noted that the vaccination concerns not only public school students, but also those in the private sector and foreign missions, including French and Spanish.
