Morocco Urged to Relax Air Travel Entry Requirements for Vaccinated Visitors

Farida Khniti, a deputy of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), calls on the government council to ease the entry conditions to Morocco, as the vaccine and PCR test are still mandatory for air travel.
The elected representative, in a written question addressed to the government, seeks to know the reasons for maintaining a PCR test for Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) who have a valid vaccination pass and wish to return to Morocco by air, reports the Info Site. She calls on the government to take measures to ease the health protocol, as is the case for those who access Morocco by sea. Since April 8, they have been given the possibility of presenting either a PCR test or a valid vaccination pass to enter Moroccan territory.
Farida Khniti expects this situation to be taken into account in "the next measures that will be taken as part of the easing of the health protocol". According to her, this easing will not only "attract more tourists" but will also facilitate the return to Morocco of MREs.
