Morocco Unveils Olympic Medal Bonus Structure for Paris 2024 Athletes

The National Olympic Committee (CNOM) has just unveiled the bonus scale that will be paid to Moroccan athletes in the event of victory at the Paris Olympics scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
These are compensations whose amount has been revealed by the National Olympic Committee (CNOM). Thus, a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics will earn the athlete the sum of 2 million dirhams, compared to 1.25 million for silver and 750,000 dirhams for bronze.
For group victories of 2 to 4 athletes, it will be 1 million dirhams for gold, 750,000 dirhams for silver and 500,000 dirhams for bronze. For a team of more than 5 athletes, they will receive 700,000 dirhams for gold, 500,000 dirhams for silver and 400,000 dirhams for bronze.
As for participation bonuses, they range from 25,000 to 300,000 dirhams and will take into account the result obtained by each athlete and will be set according to the discipline. "These bonuses will be granted to athletes who have won at least one fight or have passed at least one round. For sports disciplines that do not have elimination rounds, athletes must be ranked in the top half of the overall ranking," explains the CNOM in a press release.
