Morocco Among Top Countries Where Belgian Travelers Contract COVID-19, Report Finds

Morocco is among the 15 countries where Belgians or Belgian-Moroccans have been most infected by Covid-19. This is at least what a weekly report from the Public Health Institute, Sciensano, indicates.
In its latest weekly report, Sciensano reports that 150,000 travelers returned to Belgium from a red zone between December 19 and January 3, 67,000 between January 4 and 10, and less than 35,000 between January 11 and 17. These travelers filled out a Passenger Locator Form (PLF).
It appears that 10.9% of travelers returning from Romania, 7% of those returning from the United Arab Emirates and 5% of those returning from Morocco tested positive for the coronavirus. They are followed by Bulgaria (4.8%), the United Kingdom and Poland (4.3%), Turkey (3.6%), Portugal (3.3%), the Netherlands (3.2%), Spain and Greece (3.1%) and France (2%). Germany (1.8%), Switzerland (1.6) and Italy (1.3%) complete the podium.
