Morocco’s Time Change Glitch Causes Confusion on Eid Holiday

Morocco has not yet changed time. An automatic bug on mobile phones and computers is responsible for the general panic that occurred on this Eid day.
False! Morocco has not yet switched to GMT+1. It all started with the unexpected disruption of the time that occurred at 2 a.m. on the watches and computers of several people. According to lactu.com, these victims of the bug who were still awake were surprised to see the time change to 3 a.m. Others were stunned when they woke up, thinking they had woken up earlier than expected. Even though the wall clocks showed 60 minutes less, the victims were still dismayed.
According to the same source, several people turned to social networks, their television set or their radio to confirm this sudden change in time.
And yet, a few days ago, the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Public Sector Reform - Department of Public Sector Reform had announced that the legal time of the Kingdom will be advanced by 60 minutes (GMT +1) on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2 a.m.
For now, Morocco remains on GMT time until next Sunday.
