Morocco Tightens Entry Rules: 72-Hour PCR Test Now Required for Foreign Arrivals

Morocco imposes new requirements on foreigners arriving in its territory. They must provide a negative PCR test dated less than 72 hours from the date of sampling, and not from the date of receiving the results.
The Moroccan authorities have sent a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) to airlines serving Morocco, effective immediately.
Until now, foreigners’ PCR tests were acceptable even if dated 72 hours after the results were issued. "This is a decision that strengthens the precautionary measures taken by Morocco, as an infection can occur at any time after the test. This will help reduce the risks," explain sources.
As of Wednesday, November 11, travelers from Morocco to France, except for children under 11 years of age, will have to present a PCR test less than 72 hours old from the date of sampling.
