Morocco’s Tax Authority Invests in Advanced Cybersecurity Solution

The Directorate General of Taxes is banking on digital transformation to strengthen its cybersecurity system. In this regard, it has launched a call for tenders for the acquisition and implementation of a Cyber Threat Intelligence solution, for an amount of 1.8 million dirhams. Bids will be opened on October 12.
The DGI expects bidders to provide a "Threat Intelligence" solution capable of providing information on current and emerging threats, including attacks, vulnerabilities and potential cybercriminals, as well as trends and attack patterns, reports La Vie éco. They must offer it products capable of integrating with the security tools used by the DGI, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and easy to use and manage.
Competitors are required to propose a solution with a wide range of data sources, which may include internal sources such as the company’s security logs, as well as external sources such as third-party security reports, threat intelligence feeds, security forums, etc. The DGI also specifies that the solution must provide a sufficient level of detail to understand the threats according to the DGI’s context, including information on threat types, attack vectors, indicators of compromise, attacker tactics, techniques and procedures, etc.
