Morocco in Talks to Acquire Turkish T129 ATAK Attack Helicopters, Reports Suggest

Morocco would intend to acquire Turkish T129 ATAK attack helicopters to further strengthen its armament.
Morocco is reportedly in advanced negotiations with Turkey for the acquisition of T129 ATAK attack helicopters, reports the specialized defense website in the Middle East-North Africa region, Tactical Report. Turkish Aerospace (TAI) and the Italian AgustaWestland are the manufacturers of these helicopters.

Morocco often turns to Turkey to buy military equipment. Last April, the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) had ordered 13 Bayraktar TB-2 drones and four ground control stations from the Turkish company Baykar. Delivery is scheduled for 2022. It already has a contract with Canada to equip its Turkish drones.
